You will have to pay the fees at one of the banks and obtain the receipt. It is important to save the receipt, as it will be required during the F1 visa interview. This link provides more information on how to pay at the bank and what are alternative payments that are accepted.

In most cases, each and every individual is required to pay a non – refundable fee. The fee is not refunded if the visa is denied or put in administrative processing.
